Infinix has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company has introduced Infinix Smart 6 HD as its new entry-level offering in the Smart 6 series. The new Smart 6 HD Vanilla is the third smartphone in the series after the Smart 6 and Smart 6 Plus, which were launched in India earlier this year.

Infinix Smart 6 HD price in India is Rs 6,799 for the 2GB + 32GB configuration. Its sale will start from August 12 exclusively on Flipkart in the country. The phone comes in three colours :- Aqua Sky, Force Black and Origin Blue.

It has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. The processor powering the device is not known, but it packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with support for a microSD card to expand the storage capacity. The display has 480 nits maximum brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 99 percent sRGB color gamut coverage. The smartphone works on Android 11 Go Edition.
Infinix Smart 6 HD sports a single rear camera with 8MP sensor and LED flash. However, the camera module also has three fake camera cutouts, giving the appearance of a quad camera setup. The smartphone has a 5MP camera sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
