SuperGaming recently announced its plan to bring another exciting project in 2022. SuperGaming is foraying into the battle royale genre with Indus, a free-to-play game for not just Mobile, but also PC and Console. Although the game does not have a confirmed launch date as of yet. The company is hinting towards a launch soon in 2022. Moreover, the developer team claims that it will have fantastic gunplay and gameplay mechanics that are found in modern-day battle royale shooters.
In a press release, the CEO of SuperGaming, Roby john mentioned that the studio wants to create a world that is different but relatable – along with weapons and other gameplay mechanics that players would expect. The storyline of the game is no less than a sci-fi movie, where the player’s character is called Mythwalker, who is a hired mercenary for COVEN, an intergalactic organization that has discovered Indus – an advanced world with rich natural resources.

The video kicks off with the player-character Mythwalker dropping into the map, Virlok. The aesthetics of the map are inspired by a concept called “Indo-Futurism”, which explores the fate of the Indus Valley Civilization several hundred years into the future as a space-faring civilization.
Short gameplay footage was also revealed that show the game in action and the kind of weapons players will have. Key parts of the map, such as Jatayu Central, were also revealed, giving players an idea of how detailed and expansive the map is going to be.
Developed by SuperGaming, a Pune-based studio, the game is a free-to-play battle royale game currently scheduled for release in 2022 for mobile, PC, and console. Fans will likely see more of the game ahead of release in the coming months and hopefully find a release date soon as well.
