Today, Xiaomi is rumored to announced new Xiaomi 12 series on December 12, 2021. Xiaomi 12 also passed 3C certification with model number 2201123C. The 3C certification confirms that the Xiaomi 12 Standard Edition is equipped with a maximum of 67W fast charging, but it’s still slower than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is expected to go up to 120W. The Chinese company Xiaomi hasn’t declared much about it other than confirming the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood.
The Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station recently claimed the smartphone will pack a 4,500 mAh battery but doesn’t tell us anything about the maximum charging speed and 5G support. The Xiaomi 12 is expected to run MIUI 13 out of the box, and a leaked image also showed us what the smartphone’s rear panel looks like. Rumors claim Xiaomi will use a unique coating technology for the phone’s camera bump to achieve a feel that’s in line with the back cover. The new model is expected to be released at the end of this month.
