Moto G62 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ and 120Hz Display Leaked

Motorola is on a launch spree. The brand has been launching new G-series devices every month. Just last month, the Moto G82 had made its global debut. Now, it appears that the company is prepping up to introduce another handset under the G-series – the Moto G62. The upcoming Moto G62 5G has already been spotted on NBTC and the TDRA certification websites. Now, in a new development, the specifications and design render of the Moto G62 have surfaced on the web, courtesy of Roland Quandt.

The G62 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 480+, the same chipset that was used in the Moto G51 5G last year. While it uses newer CPU cores and a more powerful Adreno GPU, the 480+ is fabbed on the older 8nm process, while the 680 is on a 6nm node.

Moto G62 5G Specifications and Features

The all-new Moto G62 5G is reported to offer a 6,5-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the report, the display panel on the device may be an AMOLED panel.

Below the hood, the most recent Moto G-series gadget is claimed to sport an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor that comes paired with an Adreno 619 GPU and an built-in 5G modem. The Moto G62 will reportedly come in one configuration – 4GB + 128GB. However, users may have the option to expand storage using a micro-SD card. It is said to download Android 12 out of the box.

The three camera modules on the back will be configured as follows: 50MP main, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro. The main camera will probably be capped at 1080p video resolution since the 480(+) doesn’t support 4K.

The phone will be equipped with an IP52 rating, Dolby Atmos, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It is said to measure 161.83 x 73.96 x 8.59mm and weigh 184 grams. A 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support will take care of the battery needs.

The Bottom edge of the Moto G62 will house the 3.5mm audio jack, a Type-C charging port, a primary microphone, and a speaker grill.

Moto G62 5G: Price, Availability

According to the report, the Moto G62 5G may cost around €300 (approx. ₹25,000). However, expect it to be priced significantly lower when it reaches India. It will come in blue, green, and grey colour options.
