Apple launched its latest iPhone 13 in September this year and the iPhone 14 is still few months away from launch. However, rumours about the 2023 flagship smartphone the iPhone 15 have already started making rounds.
According to the site, the internal sources of the giant tech company is experimenting with dropping the physical SIM card in its 2023 Pro-tier iPhones. That’ll likely be the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro model is rumored to be getting rid of the physical SIM card slot. Apple Inc, which introduced support for eSIM on its iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, is now reportedly planning to ditch the physical SIM card slot from the future iPhones.
A Brazilian website claims that the tech giant Apple is now launches his Apple iPhone 2023’s Pro models, iPhone 15 Pro, will not have physical SIM card slots and will feature eSIM technology for connectivity. The upcoming iPhones are speculated to come with dual eSIM support. However, it’s not clear if the non-Pro models will have the physical SIM card slot or they too will rely on eSIM technology for connectivity.
