Reliance Jio says that this plan will benefit all the postpaid users who end up paying disproportionately higher as compared to the prepaid segment. You know what, this will once again challenge the industry status-quo by offering the lowest tariffs in India and abroad to postpaid users.
JioPostPaid Offers, Tariffs, and Plans
Reliance Jio has launched a new postpaid plan which offers unlimited voice calls within India and roaming outgoing calls, free Unlimited SMS per day and access to premium Jio apps and 25GB 4G data per month quota of high-speed data for just Rs. 199 which will include international calls starting at 50 paise per minute and international roaming at Rs 2 each per minute of voice, per MB of data and per text message, besides free access to all Jio apps.

The biggest highlight of the Reliance JioPostPaid service is the pre-activated ISD calling without requiring the customers to make any security deposit beforehand. Furthermore, Jio is offering “one-click” activation of international roaming for all users of the plan. The international calls start at 50 paise per minute and go up till Rs 6.

Cost of ISD calls from Reliance JioPostPaid network has been detailed by the company as well. The countries where the subscribers can call at 50 paise per minute include USA and Canada while making calls in the countries including Israel, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, UAE and Uzbekistan among others will cost Rs 6 per minute.
JioPostPaid international Roaming Plans
The roaming packs are being offered in two slabs depending on the country you are visiting. The first slab will allow voice calls for Rs 2 per minute, mobile data at Rs 2 per MB and SMS messages for Rs 2 per message. The second slab will have voice calls for Rs 10 per minute, mobile data at Rs 10 per MB and text messages at Rs 10 per message.
There are three international roaming packs available which are Rs 575, Rs 2,198 and Rs 5,751. The Rs 575 plan will offer 250 MB of LTE data with a validity of 1 day. The second Rs 2,198 plan offers Rs 250 MB per day with a validity of 7 days and finally, the Rs 5,751 plan offers 5GB of data for a period of 30 days.
How to activate JioPostPaid?
Both new and existing users can switch to Jio Postpaid service starting May 15. First of all the Jio customers need to go to the official website and switch to postpaid plans choosing the JioPostPaid service. They can alternatively visit Jio Store or call the customer care to switch their prepaid Jio number to postpaid.
The company has also confirmed that users on other networks can use MNP to port to Jio and retain their old number. Jio will offer home delivery and activation of SIMs conveniently. Customers will be required to complete KYC process.
