Google Pixel 7 Pro specifications leak ahead of launch: 6.7-inch QHD+ display, 5000mAh battery and more

The launch date of Google Pixel 7 series has been fixed as October 6. However, Google has already revealed the complete design of the phone and mentioned that it will come with the second generation Tensor chipset. Ahead of the announcement, recent leaks have given us a hint as to what to expect, including some key specifications and prices. Now, while we await the launch, the full specifications of the Google Pixel 7 Pro have surfaced online, courtesy noted leakster, Yogesh Brar. These leaked specs suggest that the Pixel 7 Pro will be similar to last year’s Pixel 6 Pro.

As revealed by the Flipkart teaser, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones are also going to launch in India. This is the first time since the Pixel 3 series that Google will bring its numbered series and not the A-lineup to India.

According to Google, the 30W charger can do a full charge in about an hour. There is a 5,000mAh battery under the hood of the Pixel 7 Pro. It is possible that the gadget will feature wireless charging. It is estimated that the price of Pixel 7 series in India will be less than Rs 60,000. Pricing will probably be higher for the Pro version.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Leaked Specifications

Like every other Android smartphone in the market, the device will continue to feature a punch-hole display on the front. According to rumours, the Pixel 7 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with QHD+ quality. For a smooth scrolling experience, the display is expected to be refreshed at 120Hz. The referenced source also claims that the 5G phone will use LTPO technology, allowing it to vary the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is rumored to include three cameras on the rear for photography. According to reports, it has a 48MP telephoto camera, 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP main camera. Although this arrangement is in comparison to the earlier model, it is rumored that the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor will be replaced by the 48MP Samsung GM1 camera. For still video, it is expected that the setup will support OIS and EIS. People can expect an 11MP front-facing camera, which is the same as last year’s model.

The Pixel 7 Pro is speculated to come with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant from Google. The latest Android 13 OS is likely to be pre-installed on the handset. Google isn’t expected to offer support for fast-charging speeds this year. According to reports, the Pixel 7 series will only support 30W fast charging, and the package will not include a charger.
